Shame about the lens, it is definitely a worrying moment when you get to un screwing the lens.

Finally i d finished a prototype for nex5. but i must choose smothing.if i desing it with centered lens,it will be huge like a d550 mount.but slided 20mm from the center, it will be smaller...any ideas? may you help me to choose the way?

No, don't so centered lens. You will be just like every one else. No matter what you do the image from the camera will never be perfectly stable with no movement anyway. A camera stabilization setup is only to slow down or smooth out the motion of the image.

The lens offset a little bit is ok.

agreed, the weight and size savings outweighs any benefit of the centered lens

Thanks...rail dimensions,93mm center to center, 10mm hole diameter.
i dont know anything about droidworx.but i think, it can fit with a modification.if you cant modify it, give me your dimensions(or your .dxf)..i can mill an fitting part for free..

I d tested it with standart analog servos.i m recommending hitec standart servos for pitch axis couse of smoothness.when i d tested with hxt,it has moved very laggy. of course dont prefer very cheaper servos.

The best way for me to evaluate how good this gimbal works is to try one. So I ordered it.
