Hello Guys

I started building my Willow. I am doing it nice and easy.
Already got the balast for it, Al is 300g and Fe is 870g. On monday I will cut it into 5 cm pieces. The dia for balast is 19,80mm.
For horns I used 4mm carbon stick with inner dia 2mm. Made new M2 bolts that are longer and fit perfectly.
Also started arranging servos and Rx in the inner fuse. For power supply I will use Trustfire Li-ion 2500 mAh cells and Castle 10A Ubec.

Here are some photos:

For those asking me what is in my Willow: MKS DS6100 for Vtail and ailerons, MKS DS6125 mini on flaps...4cell Eneloop pack. Trouble free.

WD

NorCal- I couldnt really tell the difference between the 2 versions, they both felt the same.

WD, is that a AA or AAA Eneloop pack? Just wondering about size constraints in the fuse...

Thanks!

What did you do for ballast?
We might have to do a group buy

In the UK we use 19.5mm crome shower rail from a DIY shop. Cut to 10 35mm lengths and filled with lead.

Should be very close to 20mm. Pisaneli mentioned a few posts back that he's using 19.8mm stock for his slugs. Warren told me 0.75in (~19mm) for his slugs, but his concrete ruler might lack a little in accuracy!
