Looking for a good first DLG
I have never owned a DLG before, and would love to get one. I would like to keep the cost down and most of the ARF's out there are quite expensive. I am not against building from plans. I have built many planes before, and fly mostly IMAC/Freestyle and would like somthing to just throw up and have fun with, without all the prep work. I have flown friends DLG's, and have had a blast with them. I would definantly like it to have alerons. It doesn't have to be aerobatic, but I think it would be fun:-)
What would you guys reccomend for my first DLG? Thank you in advance for any/all input!

The plans are here: http://www.charlesriverrc.org/articl...SuperGeeII.htm
There are FIVE threads just full of info that will transform you into a expert builder . If you can build a supergee from scratch you have the ability to build most any glider outside of going fully moulded.
The SG threads are incredible if you pride yourself in building.

I'd recommend not doing the Supergee-II... very nice plane, but too much work! I almost consider the suggestion the equivalent of hazing (don't take me too seriously)! Look up the Tabooish threads. The construction is simpler. Then, use whatever aero design you want. There are several published designs. People here can provide links to them if you want.
