Thanks. I just checked and I do have the travel direction set correctly as when I push the throttle to full up the prop will try to spin and does sometimes but it never does. It may turn a quarter of the way, but that's it.. Then the motor just stutters and nothing ever happens. I'm growing suspicious of the ESC. I soldered the motor to the ESC wires. I don't think that would be the issue. It should still spin - even if it's the wrong way.

The way Herc does it in that is the way I do it. Mark your cog on the wing close to the fuse then just grip the fuse above that mark and with your lipo on the horizontal fuse slide it up and down till it feels right, mark the position then cut your slot. People are going to say to use velcro for mounting your lipo so you can use different sized lipo's, I prefer the slot method if you intend to stick to one size battery. Another method once you have marked the position of you lipo is to temporarily attach it to the fuse with pins, fly it and make sure it flies to your liking before cutting the slot.
I find Herc's 82.5mm from the leading edge of the wing works well for me.

Not sure on the size. I have a Hacker motor. The A10-13L. But the prop adapters that I have for it don't fit the props. It's weird.

5.5mm is the same size as the hub on GWS-SF and the Twisted Tuff props. The Hacker ones should take and APC-SF down to 5.5 to fit any motor with a 5.5MM adapter. Unfortunately, I don't see them offered as a part by them self on the Hacker site.

I was hoping this wasn't the case... I may have to try that but I really don't think that's it. I wonder if there's another way to test if the solder joints are good or not. Hopefully someone can confirm first before I do.

Ditto on the solder, joints making that issue. I don't know of anyway to test. Someone smarter than I might could chime in and determine if you could measure the resistance with a meter to tell.

Yep, I re-soldered the joint an fixed it, that was of course before my soldering skills where developed...

I give up... Now the ESC beeps like it should but the motor doesn't turn. I wonder if there's some setup I have to do now. Ugh. Oh and sometimes it beeps louder and then sometimes it's more muted. I checked the battery and it's almost fully charged.

ZTW 12A ESC and Hacker A10-13L motor with 450mah 3S pack.

The only other thing I can think of is the solder joints to the power JST connectors. I guess I'll check those FOR HEAVENS SAKES!!!
