I am also thinking about ordering a Crack Yak. I have a supply of Turnigy 2730-1500kv & 1700kv Motors, Turnigy 10amp ESC's and both 5g and 9g HXT Servos. I have had very good results with these on my Leadfeather's Yak 55's, same wing span and weight. I think it should all work fine on the Crack Yak, what do you guy's think. I just hate to buy motor's, esc's and servo's, when I already have them

I ran dozens of the Turnigy motors and the HK 10amp escs on the extra Slick. They worked fine and should work ok on the CY. BUt if you can, you should try the new 1800KV motor from Twisted. It is awesome

Agreed, the 1800/2s on the CY feels like the 1500/3s on the extra slick to me.

The Crack Yak is a great airplane and quite a bit different from the LF EPP Yak. It's faster, more precise, and just generally another step up. It's a blast to do rollers with. Go for it!

bRad, that blue looks hot!

Brad Petty and I are doing a demo for the SC Aviation Convention indoors on Feb 9th at Myrtle Beach in front of 200 people with our Crack Yaks! Its one thing to do Demos at RC shows, but doing Demos in front of civilians, on a stage, is nerve racking!

bRad and I have a couple indoor flying practices scheduled for next week. I hope we can shoot some indoor vid.
