Stable hovering, little "pendulum". Nice design.

As you say : we want to see the transition, the trickiest phase for a VTOL.

What controler are you using ? gyros and Program Tx , KK or multiwii FC board ?

I use Gyro and Tx progam,the video it'is really the first attempt outside garage and CoG it's exactely under the lift vector of the engines so i have to move the lipo a little bit forward (i think) to reduce pendulum effect...today in Rome Italy ,the forecast its very bad;i hope in W.end the transition will be tested and filmed too.

How many gyro are there ? 2, 3 ? , angle between gyros ? 90°, 120 ° ?

What sort of Tx prog and mixer are you using ? Plane, Heli ?

At the moment I'm building a prototype with H2 heli tx mixing :
-for the two front motors (pitch and aileron channel behind two gyros 90° hovering only ) ,
and a rear pushing motor ( throttle channel) with 2 servos (yaw and elevator) the tail being a close copy of the polaris's one.

Adjusting the throttle/pitch curve and playing with 2 different idling curves, I hope I don't have to move the front motors for forward flight.

Thanks for the congratulations and for your interest in my project ...
This device is very simple: the motors rotate on a shaft in carbon tube
8mm diameter: channel 4 (rudder) moves the tubes, channel 2 (elevator)
moves the servo that moves the channel 4 servo (mechanical mixer) and Channel 7 moves across the base of the mixer causing the forward tilt of the engines.

very interesting ,, especially the mechanical mixer...but that is what I started out with and really it did work the best for the area I used it on as I could get more conversion throw with the mechanical setup than with an electronic !!!!

All what we have to do,is to wait that Markusab,have a nice transition with the plane.
I have to admit that plane only with mechanical mixing,it hover really stabile..
