Is BSP 2wd pickup truck capable? Or 4wd only?

From Weldon to BSP 2wd truck is fine. I wouldn't do it in a Honda Civic. Bumpy, rocky and sandy in some places but well maintained as far as erosion goes.

Looked like a nice stiff south wind blowing over the sensor this morning, could have been fun to fly the upper hill. Did anyone give it a go?

So, will BSP give up 500 this season? Storms are already brewing in the North Pacific, so its just a matter of time before we get another go at it. Its time to start digging out the cold weather gear, just in case!

Or will it be Tekapo Ridge in New Zealand that cracks the 500 first !!??!! Sounds like it could but it needs fast guys with fast planes to get there.

The BSP weather station is now on Windalert.com.
Looks like it's been up since 9/13/12. Now you can get a txt msg when the wind is up. |
