Here is how I do it to make sure my neutral is ok for each launch. The only reason for it is that we have seen some servo brands change neutral on various reasons. Tx potmeter might get bad or even a mistake in programing from the user (maybe the most common...)

So, do all the variants of the Perfection use an all-carbon fuse?

Fuselages are very and stiff strong like F3b. They are also quite light. The quality is excellent. Attention to detail around the tail area - especially the way the fin and rudder locate onto the fuselage - is exceptional.

Perfection

Hi,
Yes the Perfection did very well at the WC! Even in tough conditions it showed that Samba still is making a TOP model for F3J/TD! (Are you surprised?)

Oh, did I forget to say we have them in stock?

Best,
Bob

ST80 was my primary in the WC and it carried a full load of ballast for most rounds. Excellent launch and great legs. Never had any question with the strength. Only wish I had more time to set the model up before the WC. One week was not enough. Landing accuracy was an issue for me as a result of a poor landing setup.

No problem recommending the Perfection. Samba have built a keeper...

SL light joiner

A note for SL owners to inspect the light wing joiner (75 gram) closely.

I have always made it a point to to inspect my wing joiners carefully before and after each use and take extra care with light models.

It is my recommendation to use the (heavy 100 gram joiner) with the SL instead of the (light 75 gram joiner) for 2 man tow even in no wind.

Is this servo choice any good for the plane.

Airtronics 809 ( ailerons)
Airtronics 761 ( for the rest)

I would appreciate some comment of people using them and how they handle the task with time ?

I saw that most people go the MKS way ( new kids on the block).

Thanks
Thierry

You could even run an 809 on the rudder

Servo Choice

Thierry

I sure hope those work, that is the combo I use on most of my planes and never have an issue. As for the power of the 809's you could probably get away with using them on both elevator and rudder but why go with a lighter less powerful servo and then have to just add more lead anyway? The Airtronics servos are very fine servos so you will not be unhappy with them in your Perfection.

See Ya,

Pat
