Flying the Typhoon
I picked up a RCRCM Typhoon awhile back and have been flying it alot lately. It is really a nice flying 2 meter glider. There is quite a wide speed envelope and I have flown it in 5 mph winds up to 40 mph (that can be a bit too sporty for me). Here are some shots from the build and a video of the maiden flight. Hyperion digitals in the wing and Hitec digitals in the fuse. Things get a little tight under the deck with all of the wiring. Photos are of two different consecutive builds. CG at 95mm.
