Great solution you made for the nose wheel. But I do have a comment to it... I would suggest one or two loops on the push rod, and maybe use a thinner rod, this way it will act as a spring damping some of the forces when landing. This way you won't strip you servo.

Runway mini test.

Is my son, 8 yrs. filming, so i sorry about the quality.

In the end of the movie, he say, "Don`t worry, you have the plans to make a new one."

X-45C Runway test (0 min 26 sec)


This is only with 6s, normaly is with 12S

hello sir, awesome job & beautifull plane. i was wondering if you had to make some sort of change to the front retract? i noticed you've reversed it, so when its supposed to be retracted, its actually down. did you have to make any modifications to it? im currently building a plane, and your design might just be the solution ive been looking for. i was planning to build a complicated mount for it, but it might be much easier for me to do the same thing you did. thanks a lot
