Guess I'm on the "N-Fly" list as I did not renew. I just found the site to be less than desireable. Winds were always across the runway, and there were more than a couple members who's personality made the experience at the field Less than enjoyable. I've been in this hobby for decades, and there's no way I'm going to pay for a less than desirable experience. If folks are "Looking for a club" south of Springfield, do FARCC.

We should do that, it has been recommended by some here at the office.

It is a little pricey, not your usual driving range, but it is a fun outting. Its pretty close to where I live and the sons and I have gone several times electing to play some of the games where the golf ball is registered so you get feedback on how far it goes. There are also some driving games where the display in each stall tells you where you need to attempt to place the ball and then grades you on how well you do awarding points. Works pretty well for 3 guys to a stall. Probably cheaper than going to "Sharpshooters" and sending some lead downrange.

Yep. I take my team there from time to time in the summer. Fun place.

The weather at this point looks good for flying on Sunday. 52 with 6 mph wind. I am flying if it stays like the forecast.
