No Mods done, completly stock. i have about 20 flights on it with the 3s pack. Since I first tried it have not gone back to 2s.

The thin air we have up here probably helps keep the amp draw done. The places we fly are about 5800' ASL.

jedoug: Thanks for sharing this info, and for the video. If I actually had not seen it, I would NOT believe it. It's enough to make me want to try it, but you do bring up a valid concern about the thinner air in your locale. More dense air here in SC, expecially during the humidity days, could very well created problems for the ESC.

This first one is a 3S crash flying at dusk. I should know better lol.

EFlite UMX Mig 15 DF 3S flyby and Crash (1 min 14 sec)

This one is a more successful flight braving turbulent winds gusting to 30mph!
Love this little thing! This was after previous crashes.

Welcome to the MiG 15 owners' club! It's a great little EDF. BTW - you may want to subscribe to the main thread: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1681915

You want to fly over grass with the gear on? Most possible drag with no benefit of ROGs?

no only landing on grass. I throw it up no prom, but when I land it I wondered the landing gear can be ripped off.

That front gear won't last long, bends easily, breaks when you try to straighten it. Pull 'em off.

Again the question I asked, why don't you fly it without gear? Flying around with gear is a drag and useless without a runway. You might be able to even have more fun without the gear! It's like it has an afterburner compared to gear installed.

Afterburner? Fun without Gear?

This is a small Micro EDF Park Flyer and it was deigned as such so, lets not get our imaginations run wild!

I love this model with landing gear as our RC Club has a nice smooth runway and it lands like a dream and the best part is having the model taxi back just like the larger models. It gets lots of respect instead of "dorking" it on grass like a lawn dart, no cool (at least for me!!!!)

Flew mine this morning and it was fantastic conditions and tomorrow my club is hosting the first Fall FUN FLY and my MIG-15 will Wow the crowd again!

A few pictures from Gerry Rivera (simano):

Nice!

But he's not talkin' to you! He's talking to a guy who flies off grass.
