Fantastic day out at the patch today fellas! Needless to say all us locals are gearing up for the FPV meet! Josh even FPV'd the wing (NEARLY) successfully through the carport


We are entering the final weeks to prep, everyone be sure to bring parts as I am not certain anyone will want to take the trip off the grounds after you arrive

hey guys, is there anyone in the north Georgia/ TN area that would want to help out with my new ritewing Z2 ?? I am trying to get it ready for the fly in, and I am scared to maiden her on my own...my only real experience is on my Ez star....or do you have any advice for maidening a wing?

Bring it down to the pecan patch and we'll maiden it with ya!

We do allow Maiden flights at the event, so don't let that stop you from coming. Anytime between now and the event you can PM me for a go ahead to come down if ya want to do it before the event.
This plane/setup is a little beyond my scope as well but I will help any way I can, or You could arrange to have someone else come down for assistance.

Keep your cog at 9 3/8" from nose. That is the most critical thing with the Z2. Throws need to be set properly as well. PM if you need more info or would like to meet up. I have built 6 Z2's so far...

Just a quick note to let people know....
Saturday night we will allow cooridinated fireworks to be used for the betterment of Night FPV video's. (till midnight)

This just gets better and better...

I just got back from dinner and have learned a friend is expecting to take delivery on a Cub Crafters Carbon Cub in the next week. Should it arrive on schedule, he will fly in for a visit during the fly-in

I may drive down from Philly, This looks like a blast and I honestly have run into maybe one other fpv guy so it would be neat to show rigs and share ideas.
