Metal geared would the preferred style of servo for the Sbach rudder & elevator, especially with the amount of opposing forces being applied to those large control surfaces... Having said that, I've got standard (plastic) geared servos on both my Sbach & E-flite Diamante & haven't had any issues yet. These are not HK branded nor sold by HK, either. I have GWS std servos all around on the Diamante I got off of ebay & the others are from Hobby Partz as they have a decent selection of servos to choose from on their website...if they happen to be in stock... |
