Bob, it's a big baby in the sky, but you absolutely must make sure that you set your low/high rates correctly and fly it at low rates for the maiden. Don't be like me and do this:

Hobbyking Sbach 342 1400mm EPO crash (0 min 8 sec)

Other people in this thread have said that the HK EPO Sbach in stock form is not quite a 3D plane. I wouldn't know because I can't do 3D, and I can't comment on how effective it would be as a 3D trainer. I will say, though, that being EPO it is easily fixable. The plane you saw shatter on impact with the ground was quickly glued back together and flies pretty well now .

Hey guys

My rudder servo seem to have broken a tooth on the gears or something. I'm looking at HK to find a nice one and I have no idea which one to pick.

Please advise me on which servos would fit my Sbach. I'm looking for something nice but not expensive at all. My flying ISN'T much demanding on the servos I think, so I think there's no need for high end servos, just something nice in quality and price, preferably one that requires no mods to fit in!

Thank you

I used these: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=10969

Direct replacement in dimensions. Even the servo horn fits. It's not given way for a bit now. The original plastic ones got destroyed on the maiden crash.

Labour of love I suppose.

Just a reminder to those out there looking for replacements/upgrades, joselu put together a really nice post with a list of parts/upgrades for this plane, compiled from various posts within this thread so you don't have to go back and read the whole thing to find them. You can find his post with this list here:

Thanks joselu, well done.

Regards...

only thing is, the machine screws a about 2 mm to long and well not tighten down on the front plate leaving quite a bit of slop/rocking.

So the dremel is in order to shave em down abit.

I might just order some Dubro and be done with it. But not knowing the size of the Push rods is another thing that ill have to find out first!

You could shim it with something. Which control surface are you trying to tighten it on? Theyre all quite thick already.

Oh no worries. I meant, is it on the elevator, aileron, or rudder?
