Flyzone Focke Wulf FW 190 build

The stock motor mount is probably inadequate for my G15 (power15 equivilant)

Next, I need a method for centering the motor mount. For this, I just positioned the G15 with four foam cutouts of the same size as spacers.

So the finished, mounted motor looks like this. Pretty damn close to center.

Finding that the travel on the flaps was not the same, my solution was to add a longer arm. After several flights, these plastic-gear servos failed, and changed them out with metal gear servos.

I also found the leverage arms (inside the wings) where not securely mounted. That required cutting into the ventral wing panel to reseat these arms.

Also shown in the picture is a Turnigy servo speed reducer for the gear, which works quite well.

The rear stabilizer seemed way to flimsy, so I reinforced it with a carbon fiber rod and the elevator with reinforced packing tape.

I also found that I need to cut and also add some foam so that my 2200 30c battery would fit. The stock velcro works just fine. And, to facilitate easier power up, I added a six inch extension to the dean's connector from the ESC.

The rudder pivot point is weak, similar to the PZ Mustang. I reinforce it with packing tape.
