I got mine ready today, but there is still to much snow for the maiden flight.

Hyperion 4045-10 292kv on 10s
Esc K-force 120 hv + CC Bec pro
Spectrum servos.

The checkering on the wing tips looks great! Really nice touch. How does it fly with your electric set-up?

I was hoping that starting this thread would pull out a few more people who own or have flown this kit... Doesn't seem to be many of us.

I originally installed an ASP .91 four stroker in it. Its a nice engine, sounds great. Although not incredibly fast. I have been tinkering with a gas conversion. I have never owned a gas engine so I bought the RCG 20cc from HobbyKing. I am hoping I can mount it to my nemesis. Anybody have any thoughts on that?

The cubic wing loading with that engine comes out to 11.3. As I understand the recommendations for an aerobatic plane are 9 to 10 and 15+ for a racer. This kit is a pylon racer so I'm thinking that 11.3 would be good.

I have not done the maiden flight yet, because there is too much snow here in the north of Sweden . i think in 3 weeks the snow is gone.
It`s going to be around 3000 watts, 90 amps and 9000 rpm full throttle.
It depends on what prop i use, i have an APC 16*10 now.

No, I have really no good estimate of the kit's speed with 91 in it. It was not 'very' fast, it would go vertical but not for very long.

What are your control surface deflections?

Much like in the manual whit about 40% expo, but I do not know how it flies yet because of the snow.

Tomorrow I'll make the maiden flight, the wind is not so strong, and the snow is gone.
Too bad I do not have a video camera, I can use the phone but it might not be so good.

Yes i did, it was a very exiting flight.
It was very sensitive on the elevator, i started with 40% expo, but now i have 70% expo and i hade to reduce the deflection a bit to, much better now.
And when i gave fullthrottle it dived hard so i almost hit the ground. So i have to change the angle of the motor.
it lands pretty fast and i'm not used to that, so it was hard to get it down. I bent the landingear the first landing.

Have you tried the Rgc20 yet?

I have changed prop to a graupner G-sonic 16*14 and got a little more speed, i think the speed is around 110mph whit unlimited vertical.
It is a great flier, rolls like it's on rails.

The build is nearly complete. So I have not had a chance to maiden it.

I ordered a new Pitts muffler for it so I would not have to hack up the cowl. Should be here in a few days.

I crased the Nemesis yesterday

I started and when I was two feet up, I gave full throttle and the torque ripped the motor mount wall right of, and i hit the ground.
The same thing happend whit this motor last summer when i was going to maiden my new PilotRc Yak 54 73" . that flight lasted 5 seconds.
