Thanks scorp. The one I had uploaded was a quick crop the rectangle to an oval and in lower resolution than the actual working file I'll be using. I'll go in and sharpen it up a bit before printing the actual decal though. Thanks for the tip. That might be a good project for this weekend since our unwelcome guest, Isaac has decided to come back for another visit to the gulf.

On another note, our club t's have finally been ordered and hope to have them soon. Is the return address on the 1527 I bought from you a few months back a good one for shipping to you?

Yes it is!!

Did some more playing with the file trying to get the largest image possible and cropped the flames a little shorter to make it fatter. I'm limited to 8" in height to avoid having the decal on the tape line.

Which one looks better, tall and skinny or tall and with a little more meat on the tiger?

I also added some blue to it and took out some red.

I printed it (the 1st one) last night and shot the clearcoat on it this morning. Thinking I'll gove it a day or two of cure time before applying it.

The Futaba receiver finally quit in my Falcon Cat today. It would still operate the rudder servo but the esc would not arm. I had a spare Tactic rx in my box so bound it to one of my Tactic radios and let the Falcon show it's still "King of the pond" in rough choppy water.

I kind of wonder if the rx had been messing with the esc for a while now. I had propped down to a X457/3 and it looked faster than the 460/3 did. I didn't have the GPS in the boat though so we'll never know.

Nicely done on this thread ...tks for all the info guy...i wanted to get one of these and looks like they are no longer available....if ya know a source or another good choice for 8-12s lipo boats pls let me know....Bill im originally from titusville/cocoa beach florida area...hope to move back eventually...not as many rc boaters up here in NC... I don't know this to be a fact as I haven't tried it. However if you go to his ebay store and contact him via email it may very well still be available as a "special order" item. I think the reason they were discontinued on ebay is that they are not kept "in stock" and are being built as ordered. Since ebay insists on prompt shipping it wasn't worth the hassle for him.
Frank is not hard to work with. Send him an email and see what he says.

Thanks. I'd like to hear back on that myself. I occasionally have thoughts about one of his little Phantom cats for a future build.

I sent Frank a email, asking about the cat hulls and asked him to email me a list of what all different hulls he had to offer...Is there other hulls I should be looking at in addition to....Ive got a proboat BJ26, thunder tiger outlaw jr, also already running the new proboat blackjack on 6s setup...not wanting to hijack this thread so if you have any suggestions for me pls PM them...tks much ...
