While you cannot rely on the long range weather forcasts, it is looking good for next weekend.....and looking really bad for DEAF tomorrow....

The trailer is packed and adding more would only cause damage.
This may be the last year for the complete Cartoon plane collection though, that will free up room for others next year.

As for the P-40, I totaled up the installed equipment and it came to $1400
I know I have to take a hit since they are "used" parts now so 8 or $900 will work (minus the RX and flight pack)

Terry and I are currently writing up our packing list. We'll be out Friday morning/afternoon to claim a spot. Sure hope the weathermen are right this time. Should be a great weekend for flying.

Tom/Richard - Who ran the extension cord last year? Was it a heavy gauge? I was going to contact the engineer for Cindy's office to see if they have a 50'-100' HD extension cord I could borrow.

I have a couple of NIB ARFs I'm looking to get rid of. I'll only bring them if someone chimes in here saying they want it/them.

1. Kadet Seniorita - $80 This is one from Nitro Planes. As I understand the story, when Sig was about to fold, they had a carton of kits they couldn't pay for. Nitro Planes bought them and crossed out the Sig references on the box, decals and manual. In essence, this is a Sig kit.

2. Nitro Planes Super Senior (Red) - $100 There seems to be numerous versions of this Kadet Senior knock-off. This link shows the color scheme of mine. But the fuselage is not stick-built on the one I have.

I dusted off my GWS Slow Stick night flyer last night and ripped out the very old lighting harness. Came up with a new LED strip mounting idea that I hope to assemble tonight or tomorrow.

Night flying at BEST is always fun and casual. I really enjoyed Keith's flying wing all lit up last year. Terry has his wing PLUS the Glow Dog we completed this year. I'll try to set up some long exposure shots this year.

i now have a Fun Cub chock full of LED strips. we night fly at barnstormers about once a month. new experiance for me but i love it. if im no too beat saturday, ill stay late and join in.
