Anyone using a Hyperion Atlas 60A 4s ESC
I have a Hyperion Gs 2218 motor that I'm going to use in my 60oz.,3.2M sailplane.
The motor calls for a 3s Lipo and with a 14x8 folding prop it will be pullig 42.6A and 471 watts.So I want to use a 60A ESC to be safe. And I would like to use the Hyperion ESC,but I cant find anywhere whether I can use a 3sLipo with this ESC. Any help or advice would be appreciated. |

http://media.hyperion.hk/dn/atesc/default.htm Looks like they do two versions of the 60A Atlas - one for 2s up to 4s and one for 2s up to 6s Lipo - so either would work on 3s. I have not used the 60A, but I have used an 80A Atlas on 3s. Works just fine. Dick |
