I wish more companies would do the 45 degree exhaust. It give a choice of rear or side exh.

Actually the OS FP engines have offset porting but retain a 90 degree exhaust manifold.

The story I was told about USE is that they were made in part by inmates in a jail/prison in Utrecht. Anyone know if that was true? I think the Dutch told me that.

The Brits had a nickname for them - USEless

Having said that, I think they were used to win the F2D World Champs a couple of times (used by Meijer and Walkerman perhaps?), but they disappeared when the muffler rule came into effect.
The ready availability of Eastern block motors came about at the same time, so that might have had more to do with it.

I have an old K & B Torpedo 19 engine that I would like to put in a Ringmaster for control line. Problem is that the prop driver is missing. Would anyone have a drawing or photo of what this peice looks like. I have a feeling that it was a blacked steel washer type driver.

Any help would be appreciated
Mike

Mike,

It quite probably looks like the Sabre .19. The way I understand it the Sabre was inspired by the K&B
