I am working slowly on a 60" design .
I decided to use Marske's P3 foil as it worked well for an HIII experiment I did a few yrs back.

I am thinking 6mm ribs and 3mm covering top and bottom.

I have the 3D wing done n CAD and need to take sections for ribs etc
There needs to be a few adjustment still.
It's going to be a while but eventually it'll get it tested.

yup but I suppose it could be done in balsa too.

NO internal details at this time.

I just took the planform from 3=view and scaled Marske P3 ribs and made a SKIN.
I used YOUR washout as derived from the rib parts, but only from teh wing break to tip.
then the Nacelles got a 3D treatment and I grabbed the Canopy and T-deck files
that we'd done a while back and just slide it around to look "OK" on the developed wing.

What do ya think ?

Sounds good to me... and I'll be VERY interested to see what rib spacings you use when you do get round to the internals Bob.

From the wing break? Meaning the break on the trailing edge a bit outboard of the motors? If so, I would think that would work pretty well. If you build it light it should be a real floater. I'm trying to decide if I should design a real light "park flyer" type or go with something bigger (say 2m) and still use retracts. Hmmmm. Decisions, decisions!!

Congratulations on a successful maiden Brian.
I've enjoyed watching the build and finally flight - all entertaining stuff. thank you for sharing.

Yep - that Youtube stabilization is hard on the eyes alright but as they say the picture is worth the thousand proverbial words...

Cheers - Phil

Interesting but not too likely at this point.

Well shucks... A nice flying wing based off the ar6400 brick and other micro guts would be cool!

You need to visit the Nurflugle forum !

My intent was to do a bigger foamy but LIGHT so it wouldnt go too fast and
land a lot slower than a rocket. Powered but Soarable ( maybe )

Retracts Might be doable with some of those "servoless" designs out there lately.

However, Recent Custom work has me going in another direction just now.

Very very slow progress on the foamy version of this beast.
Internal details take a bunch of thought and time to implement.

So what happens with the T-deck ?

That's a good point! I'm undecided as to which. Hence the lack of either!
