Thats the stuff! Ive got some here that i havent used yet, but i had intentions on using it to make my gear door and speed brake molds.

Brian, nice to see the drive shafts, bearings, and spinner coming together. I will probably just use regular non-folding props. Can you tell me what thickness ply sheeting you are using on the wings vs. the center section?

Yes, it's starting to look like an airplane.

I'm also planing to use regular non-folding props. The Graupner CAM props I was referring to were the non-folding variety.

For the wing/center section skins. I'm using .4mm (1/64) all around. Though, I have to admit I thinking about switching to balsa ribs for the wing panels.

I installed the Multiplex Multilock wing retainer parts into both wing panels. Here's a quick picture I took. The part sticking out will get epoxied into the outer rib on the center section. A small wedge is used to pop the wing panel apart from the center section. When I pop them apart for the first time I will remove the blue tape.

I can take some pictures of the individual parts if anyone is really interested.

I'm using one per wing panel. I'm also only using one per wing panel on my "big" Ho IIIe. No issues so far.

At over $9+ S&H PER "plastic molding" that is very "marked up" IMHO !

But I am a bit economy minded.

You can do two planes per package. That's like $2.25 per wing panel. I understand where you're comming from but I don't think that's too bad of a price.

Multiplex make them in different sizes for various wingspans, the bigger ones are made in aluminium not plastic for up to 5m spans. Modelspot at Hinkley is one of the better UK dealers for MPX stuff in my past experience. Start at about £6 a set.
