Yes, and it is kind of angled backward toward the tail motor rather than 90 degrees vertical like on the genius. This caused problems with my xtreme metal swash as it has a short swash guide arm that came out of the holder. Have gone back to stock swash because of this.

CCW Yaw Drift

After shattering a glass on my coffee table trying to flip the mini I decided to try some calmer flying.

I just got done hovering about 10 packs through it and noticed that the CCW yaw drift still seems to be present. On my genius I need -10 throttle/rudder to mix it out and on the mini I need from -6 to -8. I'm currently running an mcpx main so that could be affecting it...but I don't think so.

Curious if others have noticed this?

I do not have the yaw issue with any of my Mini's (I have 3). Maybe the MCPx mains do have an effect. Try binding the heli then unplug the heli pack and plug it back in to bind again.

I don't remember having it with the stock or c05 so will have to put those in and check again.

I figured I would post pics comparing the weight of my BL Mini, Stock Mini and double BL Genius. As you can see, the BL Mini is over 2g lighter than the stock and almost 6g lighter than the double BL (would be even lighter minus the motor and ESC plug). That probably explains why she is a monster in flight and the double BL is okay with shorter flight times. BTW, all of the helis were weighed without lipo pack.

More on the ccw yaw drift

Did some hover testing with the stock motor and mine definitely has a little ccw yaw drift (~90į/min). Using a devo 6 with 6s firmware.

Setting a -7 program mix (throttle master / rudder slave, L point 0, rest flat @ -7) seems to lock tail the best with the stock motor...at least for my mini. Tests were done using hyp 240's. Rudder gyro settings didn't seem to make a difference.

To be honest I didn't even notice it till I started looking/testing for it. I think it's a little more noticeable on the genius.

Hi dkfuji, I'd love to know the settings you use for 3d. Specifically the following:

TA (ele, ail, pitch)
DR
PC
Rudder Gyro

The v200d03 is on my list too. I cancelled my order from that one place as a few people told me they were b.s.

I run all the micro walkera's tail at 120% with no expo since the 4G6, once you get into the negative expo with a motored tail though, it does help a little more especially for outside in the wind, you can also try bending the tail blades and adding more pitch angle to them...not a big piro fan, just want a locked tail .

V200d03

Who was asking about the V200D03? BH has the Matrix 250R which is the V200D03 rebranded with a green canopy. The cone gears are a bear as they will strip out if you touch anything. Especially the one driven off the main gear. It seems to be a common problem because hardly anyone has replacements in stock. I like the heli but am really disappointed with the shaft driven tail problems.
