Walkera is a cheap almost plug and play esc. All you need is to solder or splice the pos and neg to the battery plug or the board
8t for hpo5s or 9t IMO is better for co5 but you could go 8 t as well
HP05S will be way more powerful but the c05m 11500kv will act a bit better than stock and last longer on batts.
If you are a more mellow flyer the c05 will be perfect.

1.5 shaft is always better as it will be more durable for crashes

I just got back from running all over the city. No mini cp anywhere and the v911s were sold out within a couple of days. All I found was a genius cp. Thanks for the comments maybe next time I'll be able to find a mini cp before I move up to a 450.

I live in the Philippines.

Customs adds atleast 50% to the price. So for a $300 helicopter + $25 shipping, i will have to personally go to the citys central post office and pay them atleast $162+ to release it.

Is it the same in other countries?

I almost clicked the miniCP at banggoods but remembered the horror stories so i picked the v911 BNF instead (it's cheap), just to see for myself.

Ok did you try Miracle-Mart or rc711 these 2 of the vendors I deal with in China. Really MM is the best vendor IMO if a problem they always fix it with no problems.

50% sounds like your goverment is ripping you of, import taxes here are only 25%

Ah, horrorstories about bad packaging. I was already wondering what problem with the MiniCP you were referring to, as it's not a perfect heli, but does come pretty close.

Yea, the mini is one awesome heli .
And it can seriously take a beating. Im training on my mini instead of the sim as i find it more fun.
Learning to do circles is a pain though as i cant seem to get any near windless days. And the wind keeps forcing me to abort all the time as i ussualy practice in my garden (damn you mini for be so bloody fast ).

I know what you mean, easy on the sticks, or it races away, and it's not that big, so you risk losing orientation pretty fast. I haven't pulled off circles yet, but I can do "dog bones" and "flattened" figures eights without getting it going too fast. On my FP helis I always needed to add some throttle to get the heli into FFF, but on the MiniCP you only need forward cyclic.
