Itsmillertime, Did you read about my Rx screw settings? Having the flat part pointing at 4 o'clock made the heli shake forward to back violently. Where is the flat part pointing at?

I really wish Taobao was in english (google translate doesn't do it for me) or had an english site. It seems like they have great products at good prices.

Flat part at 3, pointer at 9. It didn't shake anywhere I set the pot to though. I'm assuming the shake you're referring to is more of a cyclic wobble like the gain was way too high. Mine never had any bad tendencies other than a slight tail wag that I couldn't get rid of no matter what I tried. All of a sudden it would just pitch forward by its self. Sometimes it wouldn't do it, sometimes only on a low pack. Only in idle-up, never noticed anything similar it normal mode.

I want all kinds of stuff from taobao, lol. Just the 7mm tail mount and fin is exactly what I've been looking for and that 12000kv motor looks like it would work out great. I emailed a "taobao agent" who will purchase stuff on my behalf (for a fee of course) but have yet to hear back. Maybe we can find someone trustworthy on here that can buy and ship to us?

Loctite has this on their website for CA:

Cured adhesive may be cut away with caution using a sharp blade, removed with Duro® Super Glue Remover, acetone or with boiling water.

Note: I have an almost new bottle of CA, used only a few times, and now the cap is super glued on to the bottle's nozzle, so I searched Loctite's website for how to clean the nozzle prior to putting the cap back on. Loctite recommends cleaning the nozzle with tissue paper prior to placing the cap back on; however, when I tried that all that happened is tissue immediately stuck on to the nozzle, and ripped off and stayed stuck to the nozzle when I tried to remove it. I suppose having dried tissue paper on the nozzle is better than having the cap CA'd to the nozzle. Next tube/bottle of CA, I'll try removing the CA from the nozzle with wet tissue paper.

Super glue will still stick wet. When I had a saltwater reef tank , I would buy soft coral called mushroom coral. YOu could cut it like a worm to make it grow from different slices. I would then superglue the coral to rocks. it worked great!

Can someone more skilled than I touch this up? I want to remove the website tag at the bottom and possibly make it a blank template with importable themes.

soak the nozzles of CA bottles in Acetone it will remove all the CA from them ...

Hey Guys,

So I am having an issue, when I throttle up, the heli will yaw to the left, also sometimes it abruptly just yaws on its own, sometimes up to 90 degrees. Other times, it wont yaw properly at all, really slowly yaws and it seems to fight my stick inputs.

I have changed the entire tail kit hoping this would solve the problem but it still happens. I had also changed a servo recently, not sure if that had something to do with the issue. Could it be something wrong with my transmitter, using a DEVO 7.

Please help!

To date I haven't experienced problems with a bent Feathering Shaft, but I've read that a bent Feathering Shaft sometimes results in erratic/un-predictable flight handling symptoms.

I've read one way to inspect for a bent Feathering Shaft while it is installed on the heli is to remove one Main Blade, fold the other remaining Main Blade back so it is 90* away from its normal straight-out position, then verify the Main Blade does not flutter up and down as the Feathering Shaft is rotated using the Allen Key. If the Main Blade flutters while the Feathering Shaft is rotated, than it is an indication that the Feathering Shaft is bent.

Also, the Feathering Shaft can be checked for straightness after it is removed from the heli by verifying no air gap anywhere under its entire length as it is rolled on a flat surface.

I suppose if I see Main Blade tracking error, then among other things, a bent Feathering Shaft could cause it. So, if there is no Main Blade tracking error, then it is probably safe to assume the Feathering Shaft is straight enough, and doesn't need inspected?
