Hard to say without knowing first hand...but I am not usually the type to just jump to conclusions.
I have had employees do less than desirable things and when uncovered was swiftly dealt with. From personal experience with running a company I know an owner can have the best intentions easily ruined by a less than ideal employee. Although unhappy about the hack job I will give Jonathon the benefit of the doubt until I know otherwise. If he carelessly tosses me aside then it will be different.

Is it harder to control with the dual brushless setup? Looks a little off. But from all the reports I am surprised to finally see a dual brushless kit that works

What is the AUW installed? I am still needing to get another c05 motor for mine.

All up weight 49.77 with 350mah battery. And thats just all plugged in, no cutting down of the wires. I did have a problem initially with the tail motor not working but that was a broken solder.

I dont have time right now to weigh the walkera motor compared to the c05. The walkera looks double the size though. And I said before the stock brushed tail will work just fine with the walkera kit. Just the esc will be heavy cause it would have the brushless tail esc inside the heatshrink.
Can you answer me why people use the tail brushless esc with the c05 motor?

No it wasnt hard to control it at all, I was just trying to make sure the heli was in the view of the camera

49.77 isnt too bad for not shortening of the wires or reduction of the plugs.

The tail esc is used for brushless conversion since it has a built in signal converter just like the two esc's in the package you are using.

From memory I think the c05 is 4.5 grams.

It's 2 esc soldered to eachother!!! I took the top one for tail motor and soldered directly to board power wires and c05 and plugged in the motor signal wire like normal. Now I have a use for that hunk of crap I first tried the brushless motor from the kit (i had to switch the pos and neg wires because it was spinning backwards) using the connectors the tail esc came with. It had tons of power, but even without using a brushless tail like I did originally (on genius) it still hogged alot of power!!!! making the flight times very short like the stock mini cp. But with the c05 its got power and decent runtime. The other esc will not work by its self because it is missing atleast one component the other one had (tail). If I was really good at boards I'm sure you could make it work. Atleast the dbl brushless kit wasn't a TOTAL waste.

ok all of my questions are basically answered. I am wondering if this esc is two tail esc's combined. two wk-wst-10a-lt soldered together? And like i said, the c05 i have (havent used yet cause I have been waiting for almost two weeks for homefly to send them) is about twice as small as the walkera brushless motor.

yes afaik the esc for the dual brushless combo is two seperate esc's with the built in converters..
I was really hoping for an all in one board for both motors

I would like to add that Wow is also including an extra upgraded battery with the Pro version so it's not that they are charging $20 just for the gear.

oh,ok benboy. thanks.

I decided to revert back to genius motor now with genius main gear. I had to do the wow upgrade to the frame in order for the mesh on the gears to be loose enough. I only had to elongate the inner ole about 1mm. the heli is so quiet and the head speed is really low. I dont mind though since all I am dong right now is flying in the living room. I am taking it real easy its boring cause I have no orings yet for te servo saver mod. I want to do the mod but I dont have anything to tie up the horns with. kids lost the dental floss. I dont know what to do with this brushless kit. I really wish the motor was lighter cause the shaft looks like 2mm or more. I love the battery that came with it. I might just take the esc apart to make two and keep one and sell the other. then check the weight of the wks10alt or whatever its called that I bought from chinese jade. use the lighter one.

the heli was a bit scary double brushless! pitch pumps were quick!

+1...

I got a hack job on my frame, no extra battery, and a $3 Genius gear as well. Not very "Pro" if you ask me.

It flies again! A local electric motor company gave me a small spool of 28 gauge wire to rewire my tail motor. This stuff is perfect. I was a little nervous about being able to solder it at first but it's solid core and the insulation strips off cleanly but is still fairly strong. It fit through the tail mount, boom and frame fine and was easy to solder. I reused the stock broken boom and made it a little shorter and now it drifts clockwise instead of counter clockwise. Once I get my square carbon I plan to extend the tail to see if that cancels out the ccw yaw drift. Can someone measure their boom for me? You don't have to unplug it or anything, just measure what's visible. I don't know exactly how much shorter mine is but plan to extend it 15mm or so from stock.

I think this is the wire: http://www.eis-inc.com/Files/pdf/sup...agnet_Wire.pdf

But here is a picture if you want to decode the label:

Finished product:

How short my boom is now:

I still waiting for my receiver(COIL FELL OFF) to be repaired. WOW. Sure wish they would just pull one from a kit. But guess it’s going to getting fixed. just pissed having to wait until some parts shipment comes in. Then wait for someone to solder the coil. Crap nothing like spending your money and then takes a month to get a functional product.

Mines down to 90.5 so I think I'll increase it to 125mm.

I dont know if mine is correct though! I broke well frayed mine at the front and after every crash it pulls out a little. I just push it back until the gorilla glue hits!

I found the dental floss!!!

alright, servo arms are cut, scary. time to tighten with dental floss weird.

good news: I dont need the dental floss, servos seem to hold just fine. I even hit our chiuaua's killer whale stuffed animal he rides. The elevator servo popped down two teeth. took one sec. then I was in the air again.

I wanted to ask you guys, how many notches/lines past half throttle do you show when hovering 6 inches from the floor? I want to see how well this head is set up. I am on the first line past half stick to hover 6-8 inches from the floor.
