Well I thought it turned very well and was easy to drive in a small area without hitting the crash bars. I would rate it at 9.0 because it was everything I expected and would be a 10 if the esc/motor combo was a sensor unit. The motor combo is doable but just not as smooth as what I'm use to. I still have some dialing in to do too. I will post a short video when it is ready, next day or two if the rain stops.

Hey Mike,

Nice bike! I ran mine last year, it handled quite well and was stupid fast but it's just to small for my liking.

Hey Paul, what esc/motor combo did you use? Do you still have your 8th?

I ran an EZ Run in it, I "think" it was around 5500kv. Ran good and handled surprisingly well, it's just to small. I still have it but I plan on putting in the FS section when I get around to it.

first real run

Weather was good today so i finished attaching the rider and headed out. Went to a lot I know well, thetemp. was 55f and very sunny. I stretched its legs fully and this bike is very fast with the stock motor/esc. After getting use to the way the combo reacted I was better pleased with it and understand now why how it is. Its not too bad once you get your flow going. On another note the high speeds slung my front tire off partly because the included front insert is extra heavy, still drove nice unless slowing from top speed then would head shake violently but not crash. Im going to order an extra soft front with a regular insert, I'm not convinced the bike needs so much gyro inertia up front, the alloy wheels do plenty. I'm going for a set up thats related more like my SB5. I'm very happy with the performance, it feels very much like my 5ths and handles bumps just as it should. I had a few crashes and highside flips but nothing tweeked or moved at all just a few scratches. Sorry no video, nobody to hold camera but soon yes...tonight I made my own insert from foam and reglued the tire, will try again tomorrow. I was able to run the whole pack through even with the tire unglued, I don't see how it could be any better for a bike this size. I think it is very tunable for any driving style, with very noticeable results from small changes in set up. I did not experience any belt slip either, the esc has a function that keeps the power from jerking and also has a delay /non-linear feel if you punch it, keeps the wheelies down and helps the belt not slip. The esc has its pros and cons. I will run it for now.

That bikes looks so nice I thought the esc was ok, is it the same as the old OTO one? mine is very smooth, much better than the hobby wing in my Kyoshos which are just an off and on switch !

second run

It was stupid bumpy, cold and windy 46 degrees f. outside so not much traction and on the bars a lot. This is with the. 50 soft tires not the extra softs which is what I need for these temps. Working on getting the brakes right still in this video . This is only my second try with the bike so you can imagine with soft tires and a little practice it should be choice.

Should work now..the bike is awesome, just need some warm weather. This is the lot were I usually practice but they have sealed the cracks with tar and it is ruined now for RC bikes...I will have to find somewhere else to go.
