Help!
What should I buy - Monster Trucks

So I have about a $500 budget and I want an Electric Monster Truck for Bashing. I have my eye on the Kyosho Mad Force Kruiser VE. However, I have a feeling a new one might be coming out soon, because they are hard to find right now. But I have found some on Ebay for just under $450 shipped to my door.

I do not want an Erevo...I want to bash not race. I do want BIG...1/8 size, 20 to 22" long.

Have considered Emaxx and Savage, but to get brushless in those you are looking over $600...so I wonder how the dual motor Emaxx is....anyway, what are you opinions and if you don't have anything to back up "this truck sucks" please do not say it.

Thanks,

John

Anyone have any experience with the Team Magic E6 or the Savage 2350 (I am only going to run 4s anyway).

for bashing i would say emaxx with dewalt motors in. Kershaw designs do a single or twin dewalt set up. or you could just do a single yourself fairly easy.

Traxxas "1/10" trucks tend to be as big, or bigger than my 1/8 buggies and truggies... don't worry they are big.

As for the ERBE, I'd say very few people that own it race with it... it's a bashing vehicle and I much prefer it to my savage flux due to it's lower center of gravity. It's WAY more stable. There is very little in the way of racing for the erevo... what class would it race in? With 1/8 truggies (which is what it really is) it would get destroyed due to the better suspension and handling of the pro truggies out there.

where are you going to be bashing?
If it's wet or likely to get wet, then you'll need brushed with waterproof esc.or maybe the vxl system

i would not advise the erevo, but it is not a racer! it is a basher with some racing charactreristics, thats it.

Best choice for the budget you have and the use you intend.

why not take a look at the hpi vorza flux. 1/8th buggy capable of racing but built like a basher at heart.
