Drotek experience

Hi there

I don't know where else I should post this.. Because people use these drotek IMU's for their multi heli's..

Does anyone have experience with this webshop? I bought something a few days ago, paid with bank transfer, after three days it confirmed it was transfered but, now it's already 2 days on "Preparation in progress". It's only a 6DOF IMU board, and there were 6 in stock..

Is it a scam? Or just someone who's late with these things..

Thanks!

Thanks for your very fast answer!

Yes, I sent him a message 2 days ago for a question, he didn't answer. Today I've sent him a message for the order itself.

Hope it will arrive soon!

I've also bought 2 times there with no probs but I actually experience with other shops some delays because of new year/ holiday-time.

add: it took 2 or 3 days to process my order.
add≤: I actually wait for an full stocked order at hobbyking 20 days and every time I talk to someone from support they told me: "I can not see why your order is not ready, please be patience". Never ever buy from those fools!

We are in a holiday period in many countries.
Might be that.

Example: http://www.multiwiicopter.com
"Orders placed after 9am AEST (AU time) on 19th December will be processed/shipped 9th January. These orders placed during the holiday period will be prioritized, payments 'authorised only' (reserved but not debited) until they are processed. Fly Safe."

Haha, nice sarcasm. Okay, yes, understandable too. I'll just have to be patient.

Here is my Drotek experience.
I bought LLC and 10 DOF IMU boards last year. LLC wasn't working at all, IMU board was partially working (BMA-180 sensor wasn't working). I sent both boards back to drotek and asked for refund. But he said no way he can only replace the board. OK!
But he wants me to pay shipping cost again. And he asked 4.90 - 15.0 euros for shipping.
First time he shipped boards in a simple envelope with 0.89 euro France Post stamp on it. I paid something 5-6 euros for delivery.
After few weeks of e-mail conversation with drotek I still have no money back, no boards.
I lost time, I lost my clients and looks like lost my money.

Someone else in drotek thread was having problem with BMA180.
Maybe yours is not an isolated occurence.
Of course, this is what you get with hand-assembled hobby-grade PCBs made by dudes just trying to get rich quick in the dying sensor breakout market.
