What does a 58 edge MB kit consist of? Does it come with the whole landing gear mount? Could someone post a picture of a built but not installed MB kit? Thanks.

I don't have a pic...but it includes the landing gear mount....

Basically, all wood and carbon from the front of the motor box back to the wing tube EXCEPT the fuselage's outer sides. The entire battery tray, motor box sides, formers back to the wing tube, and the carbon stuff for the gear mount.

so what seems to be the consensus on this plane vs the other 5x planes?

in flight much better than the slick IMO. I havent flown the extra though. The edge tumbles just as good, if not better and tracks almost as good. It is WAYYY better in high A flight, but isnt as nice on construction (I love the cowl set up on the slick) The batterys are a PITA on the edge without the cowl canopy set up like the slick. I would be more than willing to pay an extra $10 for the better cowl.

I thought I would post a few pics of my Edge...haven't seen many photos posted yet. Not much in the way of bling (ok, actually, NONE) but still, the yellow color of this covering scheme really pops against the green grass...hope you like 'em.

Ok, I am need of parts for my 58. I am looking for a MB kit, red cowl, red canopy, and a wingtube. If anybody has any let me know. I don't have much money and wanted to know if any of you guys wanted to get rid of some of your parts.

I went with the b@e graphics and I go through rebel highway( motorcycle graphics shop) to add some extra bling. I did this with me slick 42,slick 51, and now i also finished my edge 58. I will get some pics up later today. Your pics look great!!!!!!!!! I like the yellow.

I have the 57, 58, and had a 59....never had a 51 though. I love my 58...definately a keeper.

I had a 57" 330SC for 1.5 years and loved it. I have about 20 flights on the 58" Edge and I am really impressed with it. It probably is me, but the 58" Edge seems to hover and land much easier than my 57" 330. That being said, both are awesome 3-D Aircraft!
