I like about 1/16" to 3/32" spinner gap, and that sets the canopy overlap.

disable current limiting, that's the most important

generally besides that, they haven't needed much other tweaking

I suggest mounting your motor out as far as you can and still have aprox 1/8" overlap on your canopy. this will really help with balancing for the proper CG with adding minimal weight. seems to be a trend that this plane ends up a little tail heavy.

I agree with mounting the motor out as far as you can with a LITTLE canopy overlap....That's exactly what I did on mine.
