It's really a nice motor to hold in your hand...feels very solid and strong...can't wait to see how it runs...

Does the edge come with wing bags like the 59 slick?

I've finally put an order in for the Red 58 Edge to go with the blue 48 Edge.

Went with the 5S option at the moment. Figured if I needed to add weight it might as well be with the motor and battery. Gone for the Hacker A40-14S motor and will match it up with a 5S 3600mah battery for now and see how that goes. Does the firewall come pre-drilled like the 48 Edge or do we work it out for ourselves?

While I am waiting for the plane, which other plane is the closest to this one instruction/construction wise so I can readup on it before hand? Thanks

the firewall is not pre-drilled. At least it wasn't on mine.

Thanks everyone, I'll start reading. The build videos on the 57 SC should be able to help guide me too.

I really do like the colour scheme on the blue and yellow 57.

Lowes has a good selection of nylon spacers that work well. everwhere from 1/8" to 1" long in several diameters so you can stack them as needed. they are in the parts bins in the hardware department. I've got several of each length in my toolbox now from different builds.

You can get them at most mom and pop hardware stores, too. Also, Ace, True Value, etc.
