Opt Landing Gear

You guys that have one, what's your thought on the lg?
Won't putting them on add weight, and move the cg forward?

The gear adds 10 grams...that's 1/3 of an ounce. It's already located pretty close to the CG so I don't think it will affect it very much at all. If you are really concerned about weight I'll bet you could probably save a gram or so by skipping the wheel pants.

It's hard to tell by the pictures, but the wheels, plates, and the whole assembly are really tiny. When I opened the package I wasn't prepared for how miniscule everything was...it doesn't add much.

The only downside to the gear for me is that it slows the roll rate down. The extra weight is actually a plus in my book.

Just got the crack yak for my first aileron plane. Transitioning from heli's to planes, so not that good yet. Wanted something to handle the winds were I'm at, and it does a great job.

Just Ordered a Crack Yak to give EPP model a try.
After a week of thinking and some very nice help from Cody to make my decision I've decided to go for a standCrd crack Yak with the digital Power combo + some accessories.
I come from F3A Pattern and F3C/3D helicopter competitions and always wanted to give EPP a try ...
I'll try this one during the winter (Long Canadian Winter for a guy coming from Europe) and see how I like it !....
A big Public thanks to Cody, I've emailed him and received answer within 15minutes !... I've emailed another manufacturer too but still waiting for any answer !...

Cheers
