Show your Nurflügel

Hi,

I've seen in other boards a thread to post pictures of the airplanes one has built or designed. I think this is a great idea for our new forum on Nurflügel. So, feel free to post pictures/films of your Nurflügel in here.

I posted two fotos of the Horten-Beluga as a starter

Andrés

p.d. I thank the administrators for giving us this great space to discuss on Nurflügel!

HXVI Colibri

Hi,

Here is one of my babys.

It's an experimental Horten Nurflügel with the shape of the HXVI "Colibri"

The building thread is to find here:

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...ght=horten+xvi

attached is a picture and a dxf of the drawings, which can help to build this plane.

My first successful Horten from way way back in 2009, before HD video (for me anyway).

Horten IX-V1 with ballast, 25 mph wind (0 min 12 sec)

Hi Derek,

take a look here.

The painting is only dope, the colors are done by the colors of the tissue.

Very nice wings!

Keep on,

Andrés

p.s. Here another Horten I love and am happy to call mine: A semiscale turbine Schapel SA-882. I use now an electric motor and have flown even thermals with it last summer . Michael made a great and quiet sophisticated video (please click on the window to see it):
