Well the liquidnails didn't work out so well so I borrowed my friends brad nailer. Coating the little nails with super glue was the hardest part but is looking good so far.

Now I'm trying to figure out how to attach the guide tubes for the control rods mybe a stapler would work?

If you don't have a arc welder just use super glue.

With a color paint job like you propose there is talk about a pr-emtive strike to keep it from ever flying.

Either that or there will be an emergency supply drop of very dark sunglasses.

Not to mention we will have to contact air traffic control when ever we go out flying.

Really though how much does a FRIEND have to put up with as I'm starting to be worried seeing his flamboyant side if ya know what I mean.

OH I'm done if he puts feathers anyware on him or his plane.

Have I ever led you astray? .....ok, I mean on purpose.......
It's cool the way the tail rotor is horizontal instead of vertical.
Mine's still going strong without any broken parts.

My son took the cat to his house to live so I can't chase Q anymore. Oscar and LuLu hide when they see it and Ernie tries to kill it. So... I took to chasing the wife around a bit...but I think her and Ernie are planning to take it out of commission somehow.
I better order spares.

Strange, they liked chasing the Stampede...

LuLu calls for backup. (2 min 10 sec)

A day in the life...

Just thought I'd mention this here.
I laugh when I read a post about someone complaining about how it's too much trouble to cut ailerons, add flaps or install a brushless motor in their plane. Like it's too much work.
This is a bit of what I do. I work at a Toyota dealership as a tech. I usually work on electrical and Hybrid problems but do basically anything that is required. We are slow this time of year and Toyota always has some kind of recall going on. One such recall is on 2000-2004? Tundra trucks for frame rust. If the truck has a rust hole in the frame you get a new frame. How cool is that? Since I have a 2000 Tundra I put it up and low and behold, I had a 10mm rust hole starting in the back frame horn. I get a new frame with any accessories that may break on there removal for free.......and not just free.....I get paid to do it.

Anyway, started the frame job today and thought I post some pics. Not something most people see everyday.
