You can flip v929 manually at 60% rates

On 100% there is auto flip from around half of the stick travel.

Quite hard to flip it manually at 100%, but there are success reports with foam stick-stops on stock Tx

Thanks for the correct info on the v929. Hope I didn't mislead anyone. Now I remember that bring correct. Im really having a hard time keeping my facts straight since there's now like over 10 different models of "toy" quads. It's starting to get really confusing.

We like to do sliding landings on tables, roofs, etc., and take off again. Lots of fun.
In the USAF we called them Touch and Goes.

Where did you order it from and how much?Did you have to pay extra for the canopy?

Saw those the other day as well. On my phone so can't link. Just type mqx blades on eBay. They're easy to find.

Sorry I mean mqx propeller. I remember they were overseas so it would probably be slow shipping.

I'm probably going to order some just to check them out. I wonder what type of material they are (flexible or hard).

So I have a few comments and also a few questions.

First off, this thing has to be the most fun I've had in rc period! Tonight I took it to our church and took it to our youth room which is a decent size and put a few packs through it. Side note: got my mini aviation packs in today and as always they never dissapoint. perfect fit and major punch. First pack was fine and doing a little better, but second pack. Man oh man. It's like everything all of the sudden kicked back in and I remembered how to fly a fp again. lol All of the sudden I finally really got the feel of what was needed to put it where I wanted it and to bring it back to a place of steadiness. I was whipping the thing all over the room doing huge circles and figure eights coming within a foot or less of the walls. This thing is just AWESOME!!! With that said I still had a few mishaps and that's what makes this thing even more fun. Every time I just threw it on the ground (other than popping the motors back down a few times) and back up she went. There were a few crashes that would have obliterated one of my heli's. I even had one motor mount piece that was a little cracked and bent down a little. Two clicks of trim and it flew completely perfect again! Just unbelievable. This thing is rock solid and is definitely a keeper. I can't see how anyone would want to get rid of one of these. Coolest thing I've flown period!

Now on to my question. does anyone else have booms that are at different lengths? I'm sure they're all the same length, but it's like some are pushed in further than others. I hadn't noticed it until tonight I did have one pretty rough tumble and when I went to run the motors back up then one of the rear propellers was smacking the canopy. I took it apart and played with it and got it flying perfectly fine again, but I noticed that I have booms at different lengths and find it odd and thought it could also cause some of my issues when doing tight pirrouette type spins. I have attached a few pics below. With the blades you can clearly see that one set it closer tip to tip then the other and in the other pic you can see there is different lengths.

Also lastly what do you guys recommend for rebonding the male and female motor pin pieces on the board? I know it has the usual white stuff hh uses on everything. I had to pull one of the pins out while working on the short shaft and would like a better hold than it just sitting in there.

edit: sorry about the first pic. It looked fine on my phone, but is pretty dark on my laptop. I promise the blades are closer on one side than the other

Looking at the picture, the upper right blade is out more than the opposing side......the opposite the white prop.

To me it looks like the lower left boom is shorter than the other three
