That's the best keychain cam out there, at this time.

I hope so cause I just bought one. I hope it has a wider angle lens than the one I've been trying to use. I have this one here ...

It's cheap, takes ok video, but is really not usable due to the narrow field of view.

Here is mine in post 21 and a youtube link from post #56 on the mQX alternate bodies and mods thread http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=dQ33ZVG4Ptc

I'm just using the top section both to save weight and to keep the original battery mount accessible. The Florescent Orange in front and Yellow in back help GREATLY! with orientation.

like the idea, not to put the bottom on, it can catch air as you decend. I preferre to keep it open. or have a better designed botton, so we can attach the key cam. Very nice color scheme. I have yet to go get paint.

I recommend getting the 808 #16. It is an awesome little camera, but I further recommend adapting the 808 #16 camera to run off of your receiver's 5VDC. Then you can remove the battery all together making it the plane lighter and ensuring that the recording lasts the entire flight. I did it on my plane and it works great. I got the adapter cable on ebay by searching "808 #16 receiver" -- got mine from this person: http://www.ebay.com/itm/808-16-DVR-R...#ht_500wt_1416

I need a little help. I fly my MQx with a DX6i. I have a DX5e that I want to give to my friend for when he gets his MQx. When I bind the DX5e to the MQx all I can get it to do is spin motors #2 and #4. I have the switches all set to normal (none reversed) and the throttle trim switch set all of the way to the bottom. Is there something I am doing wrong? I sure would appreciate some help.
Thanks

Thanks for posting the link, but it looks like once the item is sold the link won't work. I tried it and it said the item had been removed. Can you provide additional information on the cable you got there?

Maybe you know a firefighter who could do the same?
The ladders on UK trucks reach to 84ft, but I don't know about US ones.
That's a great story. Go firefighters!

Short answer: start adjusting the A, E, and/or R trims on the Tx so that all 4 motors spin-up evenly (the mQx manual hints at this, which surprised me a bit (using Tx trims for AS3X): it says to adjust the Tx trims to get an mQx into a stable hover).

I had a similar problem: I use a DSM2 module connected to a Hitec Tx.
With the A, E, R trims set to neutral, when I throttle up, 3 of the 4 motors would spin, but the front left motor would not (I am in X configuration).
As a result, as I throttle-up, my mQx would yaw and roll to the left.
To fix this, I first noticed that if I gave some right rudder and right aileron on the Tx as I throttle-up, I could bring the mQx into a hover.
So, I then added some right rudder and aileron trim on the Tx until my mQx could hover with very little A, E, R stick input.

I think the dead link was for a cable. Like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/808-16-DVR-R...item231d4b396a

Or you can buy the cam and cable PLEASE DON"T BUY THIS! I was joking.

There are a few certain vendors that you should buy the #16 camera from and fishycomics' link points to one of them.
