Motor problem?

Finally German dealers are stocking mqx again. I received mine today.
Only 3 motors are spinning.

Any advice of what can be done?

Thanks and regards,

Have you looked to see that the motor that isn't spinning isn't pushed up and away from its main gear? I've had this happen a few times after landing upside down at speed.

edit:// I should say the pinion may not be making contact with the main gear. The motor moves sort of freely in its mount.

Thanks for your reply.

motor pinion and main gear mesh are properly.

Regards

PS. I found the reason. All trims must be in proper neutral! Somebody must have played with the Tx before!

Just came back from the big "Intermodellbau" exhibition in Dortmund. Lots of mQXs for sale everywhere, no perceived shortage. It was also easily the most popular multirotor there. All in all I would say a runaway success for Horizon.

Just got mine. Very, very nice! I learned airplanes on the UM Champ. That experience made a believer out of me that learning on an UM is the hot set up! (light, durable, forgiving, fly in a small space, portable, etc.)

Looks like the mQX is all of that but for quad copters!

I've been wanting to fly a quad copter for over a year now (ultimately for FPV and Aerial Photography). I almost ordered a Gaui 330-X but the sales guy said if I had no experience with 4 ch helis... he wouldn't recommend it.

So... (since there was no mQX at the time), here is my journey:

1. mSR ... folks told me to skip coaxials, too boring
... well, that was a mistake, at least for me. Too unstable for me to learn on.
2. Force RC coaxial helis (like the mCX or mCX2)
... great choice for an inept newbie like myself! Mastered that.
3. mSR X, hoping for a more stable step up from coaxials
... about the time this came, they announced the mQX

So... I've never even flown the mSR X as the coaxial is really what I wanted all along. I've got a pristine mSR X for sale if anybody really wants one. Very happy with my mQX. I wish it was brushless, but... oh, well. After I feel completely checked out on the mQX, I will be upgrading to a quad that can lift my Canon 100 HS.

been flying rc planes (self taught) nearly 10 years now ,full size planes(cessna 152/172 ,weedhopper ultralight)25 +years ,bought a Draganflyer X6 couple years ago at a gov't auction for less than $100 but couldnt fly it...went the co-ax route to gain some heli experience ,then when the MQX came out ,I got excited about flying the X6 again but I'm bidding my time til I'm "expert" with the MQX before I tackle the X6 ...like you I spend a lot of time laughing with this thing ...its made flyin truly fun again...never have I had a aircraft that would take the abuse this thing does and keep on flying...

A WEEDHOPPER! Good GAWD! I used to fly a very early non-aileron Quicksilver with a Rotax 377, and a bud flew a Weedhopper with a Rotax single, I think it was a 277, can't remember for sure.. We were both self taught on those rigs and we would sometimes swap rides. I was scared to dead in that old Weedhopper, but felt very comfortable in the Quicksilver.
Good times,,,,, we used to fly 3 times a week when the weather was nice. Don't think we ever got much more than 30 miles from home.,
He went on to build a couple very nice Rans airplanes since. At 72 he still fliyes a very nice Rans 7 with a turbo 912 Rotax. I quit flying. In 1997 I traded my old Quicksilver for an old Suzuki water buffalo. Too old and frail now for any of that.
Good GOD the memories and fun we had. We will just never stop grinning.
