From San Antonio and South take IH 35 North towards Austin. From Austin and North take IH 35 South towards San Antonio. At IH 35 (exit 175) turn West onto FM 3009 (to Natural Bridge Caverns) 1.7 miles to the first stop light (Nacogdoches Rd./FM 2252). Continue West 1.2 miles on FM 3009 from the Nacogdoches Rd. (FM 2252) intersection. Turn right into the entrance to the Community Center at Municipal Parkway. Municipal Parkway is the first right past the entrance to the Trophy Oaks Subdivision. Modelfiesta 2012 Plastic Model Show 6 Miles South on Saturday Feb. 18
On the same Saturday of the swap meet and 6 miles south, the San Antonio chapter of the IPMS (International Plastic Modelers Society) will be having their annual plastic model contest from 9am to 4pm at the Live Oak Civic Center 8101 Pat Booker Road, Live Oak, Texas. 9am to noon is the time to see the best selection of kits.
There will be several hundred plastic models on display along with a plastic model, book, and magazine swap meet. It is mostly airplanes along with tanks, sci-fi, and all other kinds of plastic model kits. It is only 6 miles south of Garden Ridge. |

On the same Saturday as the swap meet, a plastic model show will be going on 6 miles south and I have posted the info in post #2. It is a great place to find plastic kits, books, and magazines you will never find in a hobby shop.
