Power suggestions please -FW D9 Dora

So far with the frame , including the existing Robart heavy scale wheels its at 6.4 pounds that has the servos calculated along with a radio flight pack, receiver and 4 servos. Rudder , Elvator , 2 flaps , and current set up 1-alerons (internal belcrank).
If you figure
1)1lbs to 1.5 for the retracts depending on the brand (i am going eletric )
2)monster 110 is 17 oz
3)esc =3 oz

I think i am about 9.3 ready to go with no -lipos calculated , biggest weight gain is the motor .
If I go with a 60 size or 90 size motor , obviously I will lose weight but dont know the power needed yet .
The plane was designed around a 60 to 90 2 stroke , typically = 110 or 120 4 stroke
Would love to get away with less motor =less batterys but I dont really think I have a choice and I figure the Monster 110 = a 120 4 stroke .
The plane is a wood frame Dave Platt 64" Dora , I picked it up at $130 totally built never flown . I will bash it to more scale and a better paint scheme .
Need help on the Motor if you feel the 110 is over kill and esc and battery set up please ,
Thanks for any suggestions

Problem with having a plane with a long nose you have to be careful of it being nose heavy. This nice plane should do fine with a 60 size motor on 6s for scale flight. Or maybe a 90 on 6 or 8s. 110 is a over kill.

Thanks Twiz , that is my concern , I am thinking 90 because it was designed around a 60 2 stroke .
I can always go 2-4cell packs if needed but space is at a premium in the nose . I removed the tank and looking at my best hatch options unless I chose to remove the wing . The plane was build so well that removing the wings is literally a 3 min process

You know Twix , its 14.8 oz for the 60 size vs 17oz for the 110 , so I am going with the 110 turning a 16-10 3 balde or a larger 2 blade . I figure I can go half throttle if needed but will have great power when needed .
I move the batterys into the fuse back further if needed , now to find a three bladed spinner is the real challenge , Skyshark onlt has two bladed FW spinners

Then again you could go with the power 90 on a 6s 5000ma pack and save over a half pound in weight,(over an 8s 5000ma set) and still run an APC 15.75x13x3 for about 8 minutes give or take. Pitch speed about 79mph

V2, thanks great advice , Power 90 , that is eflight correct ? I know Monster /Hobby Parts does not have a 90 size motor .
I like the idea of one single pack , i like the run time your suggesting , and prop size .
If I cant find or dont want to spend the super dollars on a custom spinner do you have a suggestion on a good two blade prop on the power 90 ?

Not sure on a 2 blader for the 90. I'm in the same search mode for a 3 blade spinner for my Kyosho FW-190. Thinking of heading to Hobby Hanger in Chantilly to see what they have. What diam would you need for yours? I'll check for you while I'm there. The stocker Kyosho spinner won't let me use a 14x9x3 MAs without notching the prop. I don't think I want to do that on a 1000 watt system.

Thanks I will settle for anything from 2.5 to 3" as long as the FW shape is correct .
I noticed some Pitt style spinners that are close but again not in the correct size

Kyosho does make a 3 blade spinner . Theres in option in the spinner to make it 2 or 3 blade because my friend has the Kyosho Spitfire and P-40 and using a Master Airscrew 3 blade and hes using a 60 size motor on 5s spinning a 15in 3 blade.

And don't forget the EMP 15x8 three blade.
I'm running it with a MP 60 on 6s.
