Glad I could help . I would suggest that you clean em every so often, depending on how much you fly it. I fly mine every saturday or sunday about 3 or 4 flights, sometimes both days, so I clean mine twice a year. However I fly off pavement, if you fly off of dirt or grass I would clean em more often. Also if you do clean em often make sure you don't snap or brake any ball links and be sure you e got spares just incase.

i will probably have to clean them more often. our field is dirt and grass and that was just from two flights. the dust and dirt kicked up from my su-35 looked like the road runner in the dessert leaving wile e coyote standing there with his jaw dropped(meep-meep) . thanks again and happy flying!!!

Goldsworthy,

May be you're not familiar that this type of off topic continuous posting from you is against site rules. Its called trolling; User Trolling/Spamming Immediate suspension for trolling or spamming 10.
If you are unfamiliar with what trolling is; :"a troll (pron.: /ˈtrl/, /ˈtrɒl/) is someone who posts inflammatory,[1] extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum,"

So even if you buy a hundred FW SU-35s and put them on your bed, its off topic. This is about setup for flying which you choose not to do.
Anyone can hit the report button and put you in front of moderator for suspension, which really I had hoped wouldn't be necessary.

Finally got to take mine out of the box. Wow this thing is really nice! Parts like the magnet for the battery bay is "C" around the foam so it doesn't pop off like most foamies just epoxied with a circle magnet. Parts of foam are beef and thick not like most foamie just removing it from the plastic can bend them if your not careful. Looks like a joy to put this thing together! I can't wait.

Sounds like you may have an on-going problem. With grease on the rotating TV nozzles, I would think that dirt, dust, and sand would stick to them like a magnet........

Glad to hear that your maiden went A-OK!!!!!

I totally agree with Max on that one..............

(Maybe you can post it on a kinky adult website..............)

"It depends". I exchanged the TV servos for better ones (HiTec HS65HB). Especially the TV rudder servo, which has to work on both TV nozzles, seemed a bit overtaxed to me. Also, I wanted precision on the TV nozzles, a few degrees of nozzle misalignment there have a visible effect on the plane.

Also, people have reported some problems with the 17g elevator servos, both with respect to quality (soldering) and oscillation, which seems to happen under no-load conditions with digital servos, but apparently is not harmful (?).

Overall, I would not be afraid to start out with the factory servos. After all, one of the nice construction features of the Su-35 is that the servos are not glued in and can be easily exchanged.

Cheers,
Henrik
