Lipos are 3.7, LiFe 3.3. So 2 anything is generally a bad thing.

Get a good balance charger, and it will automatically cut off discharge at the correct voltage. Anything below 3v is not a good thing..........

Like I said in the text. Create drill tip on piano wire then drill it down the center guiding each block with your finger. Its a five minute fix.

Picked mine up today, finally! It is really big. Much bigger than I expected. I like it. I'll try to have it flying in a few weeks.

If they have/get new stock all the new versions have the open end cooling.

I have an iCharger 3010B and it defaults at 3.0v on discharge. Should I change that to 3.3? As Max stated, I should. Im just wondering why my charger is saying 3. I have never changed it and the charger has the latest firmware.

Thanks Pete. Has anyone tried the LEOPARD LBP2860/5D 2040KV on 8S?
I know you guys talk about them on and off but I haven't followed which work best.

I believe that you're good to go at 3v discharge. Just cycle your batteries a few times, and see if the capacity is what you expect..........

Sorry AV8r, didn't notice the min V you were asking for. FE is 3V and Po 3.3V.
What I posted was standard output for those battery types.

New to the SU-35

i just received mine a week ago. read the entire thread while waiting for it to arrive. had the mig 29 until one wing collapsed in a tight tv loop. just finished the build but can't fly it until my birthday in march. my wife let me get it early to take advantage of the sale price and free shipping. hope it is as easy to fly as the mig was. for now i will have to be content with the two i got for christmas. happy flying

2040kv on 8S..... a combination of fried motor, and exploding CS10/12's !! LOL
(which would occur first???)
That would be very high power. It would have to go well into the 50A's.... 2040kv is already in the 1200w to 1300w range on 6S. It could peak 1800w+ on 8S ! And overly high RPM then too.
1840kv would be the go for high power, no more really.

Su35 is higher quality, especially the wing design-- your 35 won't lose its wing in flight! I have MiG29 also really cool plane but I think the Su is superior-- how are you gonna hold yourself til March to fly!?
