Looks great ITTD but how come you didn't make it wider like V8 suggested?
The panel lines on this SU-35 are different from the other variants, because it doesn't have a center air brake vs those that do (see pics below).
They side ahead of CG but are high enough to not induce pitch up or down too greatly. So you could have made it larger and more effective.

Still working on my kit. For the elevators, do you guys use a servo reverser? if so what is a good one to buy? I guess i could split them and run them on separate channels.

I guess that plastic model has the true scale airbrake?

When I visualise my Su (not here now) I can't imagine that I could fit the mechanism and servo in there with the battery too!
But maybe it would....
It looks like a fun thing to have.

Any reason why you did not place the aluminum brake rods inside the brake as opposed to the outside then having to patch? Seems to me it could be glassed in the inside then the hinge gap made slightly larger to off set the lower angle for opening. Great idea and implementation. I think that I will add this to mine.

Ya that's why im working on another airbrake which is a lil wider, but im trying to figure out the trailing arm mech., which is actually the hydrolic arm which deploys the airbrake and supports it on the su27. The setup i have been messing with binds sometimes when it's lowered, but then again it doesn't need to be lowered till i land and could manually dislodge it once it lands, naaaah! Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks--it came out sweet-- I chose to cut mainly for space, its tight as it is, also I thought I might be able to drill the core in without disrupting the surface but I couldn't do it! Anyway its all good, either method would work...

Hay guys, I'm really stuck on this elevator problem. I have never used a servo reverser but i guess that is my only option? I don't have any chanels i can use, to split the servos. Is this what everyone does with the elevator servos (use a reverser)? there wasn't any reverser on my first RTF model, maybe Freewing used a servo that was already reversed?

Yes, when you get a version that already has the servos installed they use a reversed servo.
