JK I copied your rear facing angle. Have a "safety wire" tied inside the fuse so I don't lose another camera.

Merlin, I like the fly club, very cool looking spot! but if i flew there i would need a big net and a long pole to fish my plane out of the river . how many planes have wound up in the river?

We have a boat, there have been hundreds of recoverys. Flat spun my Starmax 90mm F4 into the drink on its maiden flight. Unintentional spin

OK guys... here's my flight video from today... I was running low on power and had to make an emergency landing.... It looks a whole lot worse than it is though... there was only slight damage to the front landing gear... I'll have that fixed tomorrow. Enjoy....

Anyone has the same feeling?
I'm at 4200 ft with temps around 95 deg and higher and have no problems with any part of the flight except landing can be a little tricky but working on that technique.

Jk,

That question was intended for Acesimmer, because he said landings can be tricky at elev. of 4200 ft.

anyhow just set your timer for 1 min less than your normal flying time and you shouldnt have a problem with running out of batt. I can easily get 4:00 flight time (normal) & 4:30 (throttle management/cruising) but set my timer 3:00 min that gives me enough time to make atleast 1 more go around on a bad approach. Plus your running a hot setup so your pulling more amps than most flying, so you really need to watch your timer if you not managing throttle. Least you saved her from bad damage.

Hey Merlin, Was watching last your wing cam vid and that fan sounds really outta balance. It shouldnt whine that much during taxi or flight. Could be the camera but not to certain.

Yea, it's all stock except for the elevator servos. Never balanced, old purple motors, stock ESCs with both BECs working. Spring mod on nose wheel. I just fly the heck out of it whenever I can. It does wail like a banshee.
