F-14 Tomcat mini profile pusher 3mm depron

First off, I have one of those cool F-15 kits from Nico hobbies. That is a great design and an easy to build kit. I used some ideas from that design to build an F-14 Tomcat. With the fixed wings swept forward I had to link some ailerons to the elevons to get some roll authority. Turned out to be a stable smooth flying plane...

Here are the stats:
WS 26"
AUW 6.3 oz
1806N motor
4530 GWS prop
2 servos
OrangeRX
10 amp esc
3s 500mah 25c battery

I have the PDF files somewhere.... i printed these out and cut the parts about a year ago...

Thanks, was a fun little project. The first couple of flights were near disaster... the elevons alone just couldn't overpower the straight wing to turn.

It looks great. I have a larger swing wing version, also tough to turn with the wings extended but when they're swept, it turns great.

I agree that making the elevons full and maybe including the engines (split them in the middle) might give you more control authority like your looking for.

I agree plans would be sweet she is a good looking bird.

Thanks all. I will try to get the plans up if I can find them... they are on a thumb drive somewhere. Having the ailerons linked to the servos was a pretty easy fix.
