Thanks, this is the reward for all of those hours and dust. I glued on the vertical tail, it is starting to look even better.

I just tacked on the inlets and now it looks like an F-4! Now I need to layout the guts , cut a hatch, and start making the ductwork. The tail works just like the BVM F-4, it is solid as a rock with little slop and should perform well at 100+MPH. Best of all everything is very simple so far which keeps the weight down.

I can't remember if you listed the power setup you have planned?

I decided to go with another custom fan 38mm in diameter with a 12mm motor. This will be a lightweight setup and works well with the F-4s intake and exhaust areas. Today was over 10 hours in the shop creating the intake plug. It is glassed now and I am calling it a day. It will be one piece with two seams, there is a piece of wood in the middle that is just a spacer while the epoxy cures.

Thanks, I just glassed the inside and now it is time to tackle the exhaust. The intake is much easier because you have to semicircles going into one circle. The exhaust has one circle dividing into two which is much more difficult.

I just glassed the exhaust and it looks good. This one only took 6 hours to get to this stage.

The intake and exhaust turned out well, now they are just getting a little more filler. I used micro pin hinges for the ailerons and it worked out well. They were glued into a little block of foam which was then glued into the wing. The little square of carbon with the hole is a bearing block that supports the aluminum tube just before the control horn.
