Unobtanium Hobby Lobby 1/2A Shoestring New Lower price

OK, here's a kit from the 70's This ABS and foam kit from Hobby Lobby is TOTALLY unique. Trust me, you'll be the only one on the field with one of these.

The kit is mostly ABS plastic (even the wing spars are ABS!). There are only a couple of pieces of wood included in the entire kit. The wings are hollow molded foam as are the tail feathers. They are similar to Depron. The ABS is a beautiful bright yellow. It'll take you longer to release the ABS from its sections than it will take to build the model. This kit was designed for the trusty yet sometimes troublesome TD .049 but thank GOD for electric! The conversion will be so simple a complete novice could do it, but I don't recommend this kit for the novice. It'll be FAST.

This was a 1/2A class pylon racer. It is a great flyer and still legal for racing. Here are some shots of mine. I have the blue version with a hot TeeDee .051 and it's a smokin' ride!

Turn left and haul a$$. I can make all the plastic parts as I have a vacuum former very easy to mold the parts. Can anybody mold the wings and tail so we can bring this kit back to life?
