3M 77 will melt a little if it's held too close to the foam while sprayed. Keep it about a foot away from the foam while you spray it and it works great.

Just a light coat of 77 and you will be ok, if you spray tooooo much on it will attack foam too. Good luck can't wait to see your progress! W.

+1 only thing i use is 77 for laminating. Several light coats is the trick. dont let it pool, and make sure its dry. Its contact cement after all.

Great build BTW!

I figured as much. Gotta get past those nasty winter and early spring winds anyway.

ok guys! after about 3 hours of work, this is where i am. started gluing stuff, and things started happening FAST! my dad cam over and helped me shape a little. the trash can is now full of foam shavings. got it pretty much roughed out. ill wait till the turtle deck and nose cone is on before i get real serious about smoothing. may even save that till way down the road, sinc ei know this thing is going to get dinged to crap building it. im going to be glassing the fuse, and also adding some glass to the inside as well. also, its missing about 10" of the inlets, about 10" of nose cone and about 5" of afterbuner cones... :O

when im working on it, i feel like im scuba diving next to a whale shark for some reason......

oh, and i had to put my old scratch built F-5 on there, its only 6ft long.... :P
