Thanks guys.

Well in 3 years Charlotte and I retire to Maui Hawaii. We went on a scouting trip last summer and of course I had to make sure the R/C club and field would pass inspection

It looks good, with a nice long paved runway. The wind I guess it blows pretty good during the afternoon so the guys do their flying in the morning. If the T-38 is still around in 3 years I will have to put it in a crate and put it on a ship and send it over.

Not a bad backdrop to fly against! Would make for some excellent photos at the right time of day.

I remember getting off the plane in Maui back in 1981. It was one of the island commuters. Chuck Norris was waiting to board and I couldn't believe how short he was.
I haven't been back but I know you will love it there. If we didn't have so many roots back here we would join you!
But you still need to make Vegas every year.

Be careful Andy! I know from experience, that barn swallows planes and plugs.
It's like California's Bermuda Triangle!!!!!!!

Falcon 5,
Excellent build, the T-38 is one of the sexiest metal sculptures in the air (lol next to the f-14 that is ). Can't wait to see her in the air where she belongs.

Too funny. I should also have the Waldrep hangar available to store some of the Ace in the Hole fleet. The island fever discussion was had a few times with the better half and it was agreed upon I get 2 R/C events on the mainland every year plus the family reunion in Vegas every October, so I hope that will be an adequate fever reducer.
